Had a fairly good day yesterday with 8/1 shot she’s got appeal getting the job done- follow that one up the ladder- and closing out the finale with a $5.80 winner.
Not much to go after today, but here’s the skinny:
R4: a smile per mile. I was trying to figure out a way for this horse to lose, but there isn’t much speed signed on here and she figures to go gate to wire rather easily. The frankel and Vienna runners don’t scare me at all, so I will probably play two straight exactas with the rail horse, xtrasensory and the outside, any for love.
R6: skywalker red. I’d typically throw out an 11-race maiden in a special weight race, but there is absolutely not early speed signed on in here and I think gary stevens will try to steal this one on the front end. He’s a great judge of pace and at 6/1, it’s worth a gamble.
R7: roi charmant. In contrast to the last two picks, this race is loaded with speed and I’m going to take a chance that ‘charmant has relaxed a little bit from his head strong days last year and can sit in the garden spot right off the speed. Nakatania has been riding well of late and at a decent price, I’ll play.
